Hi, my name is Simone and I am originally from Salzburg in Austria, I now call my home Wexford in Ireland. Originally I wanted to stay for 3 weeks to improve my English.... 15 years later I am still here.

My journey of crocheting and knitting started at a very young age, I learned this skill in primary school. When I moved to Ireland it ignited a spark of creativity and I picked up the needles again. During lockdown I was working on a big blanket when my partner asked me to teach him how to make a hat. While I was teaching him he mentioned knitting machines to me and I was intrigued straight away. It didn't take long for me to purchase my first machine... I was hooked immediately.... Kosy was born.

Wanting to use Irish wool and after ordering different kinds I came across Donegal Yarns and their Soft merino wool which comes in an array of amazing colours! I just loved it!

My friends and family have been very supportive and after a few requests of items for them my product range grew and towards the end of last year I started selling at local markets. One of my first markets I attended in Ramsgrange Co. Wexford a lovely lady called Ann approached me and asked me if I would like to display some of my items in her Boutique@Dunbrody in the Dunbrody House Hotel. I was of course over the moon. I continued with the local markets and started at Mountain view market in Kilkenny. The feed back I got of all the markets was amazing.
